Hockey

On Thursday 3rd March 2016, the Elmbridge Junior School hockey team travelled to Oxstalls Tennis Centre to take part in the level 2 Quicksticks tournament. They played very well and won 5 out of 6 matches in the pool stage and got through to the semi finals and secured a place in the level 3 county finals on the 23rd of March.  They work incredibly well as a team and ended up winning the final overall first in the tournament. Well done to Ali, Zeb, Eesa, Etoile, Charlotte and Tilly and good luck in the next stage of the competition.

We all played really well and would like to say a big thank you to Mr Grigg and Mr Barnett for giving us these opportunities and the squad that did Elmbridge proud. Misbah.U.
On Wednesday 25 March the Elmbridge Hockey Squad went to Cheltenham College to play in the county finals. We went in with our heads held high hoping for gold even though we did not know what to expect. We were up against some tough teams that were much better trained than us but even tough we came fourth in our pool we had a great time and played really well, but there's always next year. Thank you to Mr Grigg and Mr Barnett for giving us these opportunities and to all the team that represented our school.
