Gloucester Schools' Partnership (GSP)

The Gloucester Schools' Partnership (GSP) was formed in September 2008 to link all of the primary schools in Gloucester City together. We are working together to provide the highest quality provision to raise attainment, aspirations and life chances of the pupils in the Partnership.

Gloucester Schools' Sports Network (GSSN)

The School Sports network has been set up to support local schools and help to develop opportunities for all young people to experience worthwhile, enjoyable and quality PE and School Sports. Building on from the successes of the School Sports Partnership we aim to continue to link together schools so as to enhance and increase opportunities for all. By this collaborative approach more will be made possible as the sum of the whole is greater than the units working apart.

All Primary Schools now receive Sports Premium Funding from the Government which they are able to utilise for our GSSN affiliation package.

The GSSN affiliated schools have chosen to utilise a percentage of this to support the continued running and delivery of the Gloucester School Sport Network.

We provide our schools with:

  • Continued professional Development - both in-house whole staff and at CPD days out of school.
  • Specialist Curriculum Support - to include gymnastics, dance, archery, yoga, physical literacy, and a range of team games
  • A year-round calendar of festivals, shows, and competition and participation events
  • SEND specific festivals each term for all - a minimum of two per term

Gloucestershire Healthy Living and Learning (GHLL)

Gloucestershire Healthy Living and Learning is an umbrella organisation for Gloucestershire Healthy Schools and Gloucestershire Healthy FE (Further Education). GHLL was launched in July 2012 for schools and colleges across Gloucestershire, supported by Leading Teachers. Funding is through Public Health and by Gloucestershire County Council. Schools and colleges are offered this supported intervention at no cost. The GHLL provides resources and training for all aspects of mental health and wellbeing.

At Elmbridge Primary School, we are fortunate to have one of our lead teachers based at the school. Mrs. Manda Holliday works for this organsiation on most Thursdays and oversees health and wellbeing across the school community.

Young Minds Matter (YMM)

Young Minds Matter (YMM)  is a safe and confidential mental health support service developed for children and young people up to 18 years of age in schools across Gloucestershire.

The team can offer you support if you are struggling with things like anxiety, low mood and poor sleep or similar. This can be either face to face in school or via a virtual online platform. To meet with someone from Young Minds Matter you can ask a teacher/member of staff in the school to make a referral for you.
