Cricket

Elmbridge Primary School cricketers were invited to the Cheltenham Cricket festival to watch day one of Gloucestershire's match against Essex in the county championship. There were also cricket activities running throughout the day including an inflatable bowling lane.

On Thursday 9th June, the Elmbridge cricket team played Field Court at home. Each team starts with 200 runs and if you get out you lose 5 runs are lost. Before we won the toss, Fieldcourt batted first and with great catching , fielding and bowling we managed to reduce them to 153 runs . Then we batted! With some good shots and some boudries we got 306 runs. In the end we won by a huge 153 runs. Megan
