Train trips to Worcester
The Year 3 children had a visit from Platform rail to teach them about how to travel safely by train. The children applied their skills by travelling from Gloucester Railway Station to Worcester Foregate Street Station on the train. The children had a workshop about changes in transport from the start of history and have designed their own sustainable transport.
Climbing wall and caving
Year 3 felt a bit scared about caving and climbing but had a brilliant time. We overcame our fears and encouraged our friends to try a new experience.
Puzzle workshops
We had fun solving lots of puzzles with the 'Puzzle man' and enjoyed being able to use our problem solving skills.
Claypots
In art Year 3 designed and made claypots. We had lots of fun and tried not to get too messy.
Sewing
We developed our sewing skills to create cushions for special people in our lives. We tried to include running stitch, cross stitch and applique in our designs.
Cooking
Year 3 love cooking and being in the Shake and Bake Room to create lots of tasty things. We cook in small groups with Mrs Coughlan, Mrs Holl and Mrs Mansuri.

Archery
Year 3 had great fun during their archery sessions in the hall. They tried archery and discovered how to safely shoot their arrows at different targets.
Cooking
During the year, the children in Year 3 love cooking. We love being able to use the Shake and Bake Room.
Stone Age Morning
We spent the morning trying out some of the skills that Stone Age people would have developed as part of their lives as hunter gatherers. The children loved using their stalking skills to creep up on the 'woolly mammoth' and fire weapons(vortex from the PE cupboard) at the mammoth.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
