On Tuesday 28th April, Sam and Isobel took part in the K'Nex challenge county final at Millbrook Academy run by STEM works. Their challenge amongst the 50 schools taking part was to create a rescue vehicle that could travel by land, sea, air or through outer space. They had to include rescue equipment, have a locking door and have a mechanism of some sort. They had one hour to complete it whilst answering questions from a group of expert engineers about their design. Sam and Isabel rose to the challenge and as you can see by the picture created a fantastic invention! Budding engineers - well done!
